Willys Mb Military Wiking-Plast '60 Green 1:43 Made in Sweden Bakelite

Visual and technical description. This Willys Mb diecast model features a one-piece green plastic body, no windows and simplified details that emphasise the vehicle's rugged character. The interior has ribbed seats in two rows, reproducing the functional arrangement of the seating despite the model being almost entirely static. The wheels sit on black five-spoke rims mounted on a metal axle pin, while the clearly ribbed tyres give an impression of traction. The floor ribs and bodywork ribbing emphasise the solid construction, while the grille with vertical slots and round headlights on the short bonnet reflect the vehicle's classic military character. The length of 79 mm indicates a scale close to 1:43 in relation to the original. The model is made of plastic, with no moving panels, which, combined with the simple body lines, creates an authentic, loose diecast model. The whole piece conveys the mood of the era and the technical simplicity characteristic of the manufacturer's collectible series, while retaining clear proportions and durable construction.

Used, collectible diecast model; after restoration it is like new (without a box, unless a box is shown in the photos). We restore models with 3D-printed replacements for missing parts and special paints made for restoring model cars. If the model shows signs of use, it has been intentionally left partly unrestored to keep its individual vintage character. The photos show the actual condition of the model.

The date given in the title or description is not always the date the casting was made. It may refer to the design of the model, the first casting series or the production of the real car. We give the dates the manufacturer states on the base. If in doubt, check all information against the photo of the base of the model.
