Wheel Crane Matchbox Matchbox Series 1:64 Loose

This metal-and-plastic diecast model depicts a heavy eight-wheeled mobile crane designed for construction work. The driver's cab and the main part of the chassis are finished in green, while the long boom stands out with a red and grey finish. At its end is a yellow hook, emphasising the model's working character. The boom is movable, allowing its position to be changed and scenes involving the lifting of loads to be recreated. Lesney markings and the catalogue number No 30 can be seen on a structural component, which is important when identifying the Wheel Crane variant. The model has a simple, functional shape typical of older construction vehicles: a high cab, a substantial chassis, eight wheels and clearly defined crane equipment. The example is loose, without packaging, with extensive paint loss and rubbing. The wear includes, among other things, the cab edges, chassis and boom components, but the preserved movable mechanism and characteristic colour combination remain clear.

Used, collectible diecast model; after restoration it is like new (without a box, unless a box is shown in the photos). We restore models with 3D-printed replacements for missing parts and special paints made for restoring model cars. If the model shows signs of use, it has been intentionally left partly unrestored to keep its individual vintage character. The photos show the actual condition of the model.

The date given in the title or description is not always the date the casting was made. It may refer to the design of the model, the first casting series or the production of the real car. We give the dates the manufacturer states on the base. If in doubt, check all information against the photo of the base of the model.
