VW Käfer Cabrio Baujahr 1961 Schuco Green 1:72

Visual description of the diecast model: VW Käfer Cabrio Baujahr 1961 by Schuco is a compact two-door convertible. The green paintwork is combined with a cream-coloured interior and chrome-plated trim and bumpers, which reflect the light softly. The body has shaped lines, short ridges and precise details, while the dashboard, steering wheel and seats are visible inside. The body combines metal with plastic components; individual details such as the windows, window trim and headlights are reproduced with attention to detail. The model stands on a black base with a transparent cover, with the inscription Baujahr 1961 visible on the base. The overall length of 107.0 mm in scale 1:72 maintains the correct proportions; the set uses a metal body and plastic for the finishing details, while the paintwork and chrome-plated elements create a contrast between the exterior and interior. The packaging includes the base and transparent cover, which form an integral part of the collector's presentation. The green colour with cream-coloured interior emphasises the character of the 1960s; details such as the trim, window frames and bumpers are reproduced with great care. This Schuco diecast model represents a classic style valued by collectors for the durability of its finish and the authenticity of its construction.

Used, collectible diecast model; after restoration it is like new (without a box, unless a box is shown in the photos). We restore models with 3D-printed replacements for missing parts and special paints made for restoring model cars. If the model shows signs of use, it has been intentionally left partly unrestored to keep its individual vintage character. The photos show the actual condition of the model.

The date given in the title or description is not always the date the casting was made. It may refer to the design of the model, the first casting series or the production of the real car. We give the dates the manufacturer states on the base. If in doubt, check all information against the photo of the base of the model.
