Volkswagen New Beetle Cup Hot Wheels 2001 1:64 GERMANY Loose Black

The diecast model represents the racing version of the Volkswagen New Beetle Cup, reproduced in 1:64 scale. The body is finished in black, contrasting with the red and silver graphics placed on the sides and other body elements. The inscription “GERMANY” is visible on the model, emphasising the vehicle’s sporty, track-focused character. The silhouette retains the characteristic rounded proportions of the Volkswagen New Beetle, but has been enhanced with details typical of a racing car. A prominent spoiler at the rear adds to the miniature’s dynamic appearance. The construction combines metal and plastic, with separate chassis, window and wheel elements. The model is approximately 77 mm long. This example dates from 2001, was made in China and is offered as a loose model in collector condition described as “Luzak”.

Used, collectible diecast model; after restoration it is like new (without a box, unless a box is shown in the photos). We restore models with 3D-printed replacements for missing parts and special paints made for restoring model cars. If the model shows signs of use, it has been intentionally left partly unrestored to keep its individual vintage character. The photos show the actual condition of the model.

The date given in the title or description is not always the date the casting was made. It may refer to the design of the model, the first casting series or the production of the real car. We give the dates the manufacturer states on the base. If in doubt, check all information against the photo of the base of the model.
