Frankfurt.De SIKU Red Tram 1:87

The diecast model in 1:87 scale is 160 mm long, with a die-cast metal body and plastic windows. A characteristic plastic pantograph is mounted on the roof, while a flexible joint in the middle allows for realistic positioning on the tracks. The side of the vehicle features a printed Frankfurt panorama and yellow FRANKFURT.de lettering. The underside of the model is metal and bears a stamp with the SIKU logo, while the plastic wheels are mounted on a metal axle. The whole model is finished in red with black details and distinct yellow accents. The interior of the tram has been reproduced with seats, while the cab and finishing details reflect its urban use. The model is used, with visible scuffs and paint loss on the edges, which adds character and sometimes indicates use. The whole piece is an example of a precise reconstruction by SIKU, reflecting the reality of urban trams, their length and proportions in relation to the tracks, as well as their construction details.

Used, collectible diecast model; after restoration it is like new (without a box, unless a box is shown in the photos). We restore models with 3D-printed replacements for missing parts and special paints made for restoring model cars. If the model shows signs of use, it has been intentionally left partly unrestored to keep its individual vintage character. The photos show the actual condition of the model.

The date given in the title or description is not always the date the casting was made. It may refer to the design of the model, the first casting series or the production of the real car. We give the dates the manufacturer states on the base. If in doubt, check all information against the photo of the base of the model.
