Trabant 601-S Simba Blue 1:27

This diecast model is a precise reproduction of the Trabant 601-S in the Limousine version. The model is made from die-cast metal with plastic elements, featuring a light blue body, black bumpers and a black interior, while the silver wheels contrast with the dark interior. The model measures 131 mm in length in 1:27 scale, corresponding to the proportions of a vehicle approximately 3555 mm long. Attention is drawn to the opening front doors, glazed windows and reproduced interior; bodywork details such as clearly defined edges, ribbing on the front grilles, sharp profile lines and precisely fitted hinges demonstrate the high level of reproduction achieved by Simba's budget modelling. The black plastic bumpers, minor scratches and moderate signs of wear to the paint give the construction a collectible character and authenticity. This diecast model, displayed alongside other examples, captures the spirit of the era and its technical simplicity, while also showing how the history of motoring can be contained in simple forms.

Used, collectible diecast model; after restoration it is like new (without a box, unless a box is shown in the photos). We restore models with 3D-printed replacements for missing parts and special paints made for restoring model cars. If the model shows signs of use, it has been intentionally left partly unrestored to keep its individual vintage character. The photos show the actual condition of the model.

The date given in the title or description is not always the date the casting was made. It may refer to the design of the model, the first casting series or the production of the real car. We give the dates the manufacturer states on the base. If in doubt, check all information against the photo of the base of the model.
