THOMSON AIRWAYS AIRPORT BUS Realtoy '90 White 1:72

The Thomson Airways Airport Bus diecast model is a metal airport bus in 1:72 scale, approximately 107 mm long. Its body is made of metal (zamak) with plastic elements, giving it a solid, heavy feel. The paintwork is finished in white with blue windows and red Thomson lettering, matching the airport theme. The underside features embossed Realtoy and Made in China markings, as well as the CE mark. The roof is enhanced with ventilation panel details; the side lettering International Airport Service and side number 148 add realism. The model's doors are fixed, imitating the character of many collectible diecast models from that period. The finish shows signs of use: scuffing and paint loss on the edges, highlighting the age and authenticity of the example. The transparent windows recreate the look of a real airport bus. Overall, this is a typical example of a Realtoy set from the end of the 20th century, combining a metal body, detailed prints and faithful detailing, which makes it appealing to collectors who value historic aviation diecast models.

Used, collectible diecast model; after restoration it is like new (without a box, unless a box is shown in the photos). We restore models with 3D-printed replacements for missing parts and special paints made for restoring model cars. If the model shows signs of use, it has been intentionally left partly unrestored to keep its individual vintage character. The photos show the actual condition of the model.

The date given in the title or description is not always the date the casting was made. It may refer to the design of the model, the first casting series or the production of the real car. We give the dates the manufacturer states on the base. If in doubt, check all information against the photo of the base of the model.
