SUPER G.T. Police Matchbox 1985 White 1:64

The 1985 Matchbox Super G.T. diecast model is a solid example with a white-painted metal body (Zamak), showing numerous paint chips and minor scratches that reflect its use. The bonnet features the POLICE inscription, while the whole model is decorated with black details and wide orange stripes that contrast with the light background. The roof, wings and body lines capture the character of a vehicle from the era, while the black-and-orange rear spoiler emphasises the model's sporty character. The base is made of plastic, as are the wheels, while the axles are metal; together, this gives the model a balanced weight and the characteristic feel of 1980s diecast models. The model shows signs of use: paint chips on the edges, minor deformations and light dirt, which add authenticity and history. This example is an interesting item for collectors looking for specific details – the period police style and the authenticity of the metal body and plastic components.

Used, collectible diecast model; after restoration it is like new (without a box, unless a box is shown in the photos). We restore models with 3D-printed replacements for missing parts and special paints made for restoring model cars. If the model shows signs of use, it has been intentionally left partly unrestored to keep its individual vintage character. The photos show the actual condition of the model.

The date given in the title or description is not always the date the casting was made. It may refer to the design of the model, the first casting series or the production of the real car. We give the dates the manufacturer states on the base. If in doubt, check all information against the photo of the base of the model.
