SUPER G.T. Mainline Matchbox 1985 Purple 1:64

The Matchbox Super G.T. diecast model from the Mainline range is presented as a metal model with a closed base and plastic body. The purple body retains remnants of gold decorations that emphasise the car's sporty character. The black plastic windows are fixed, and the body has minor scuffing along the edges. The embossed metal base identifies the model as SUPER G.T., BR 9/10, with a production year of 1985; the underside bears the inscriptions MATCHBOX INTL LTD and MADE IN CHINA. The overall length is approximately 71 mm. The combination of details reflects the style of a sports coupé, its substantial side profile and low, shaped silhouette. The body elements do not open, the doors are fixed, and the entire mechanism has been arranged to reflect the uncomplicated character of Mainline. Signs of use are present: discolouration and minor paint damage along the edges, light scratches and slight corrosion on the wheel axles, adding character to the displayed example. Despite its modest construction with a clasp and metal, this diecast model retains an authentic model appearance and makes an interesting addition for a collector.

Used, collectible diecast model; after restoration it is like new (without a box, unless a box is shown in the photos).
