Super Comp Dragster Hot Wheels 1981 1:64 Loose Gold

The Super Comp Dragster is a small diecast model measuring approximately 92 mm in length, made from a combination of a metal body and plastic components. Its shape is based on a specialised dragster designed for short-distance racing. The gold body has elongated proportions, a low-slung profile and an open cockpit positioned in the central part of the construction. At the rear there is a large aerodynamic wing, which noticeably widens the silhouette and gives it a distinctive, sporty appearance. Chrome elements contrast with the gold paint, while black wheels complete the simple racing colour scheme. The model dates from 1981 and was manufactured in China. This is a loose example, so it may show signs of previous use, such as minor scuffs or small losses to the finish.

Used, collectible diecast model; after restoration it is like new (without a box, unless a box is shown in the photos). We restore models with 3D-printed replacements for missing parts and special paints made for restoring model cars. If the model shows signs of use, it has been intentionally left partly unrestored to keep its individual vintage character. The photos show the actual condition of the model.

The date given in the title or description is not always the date the casting was made. It may refer to the design of the model, the first casting series or the production of the real car. We give the dates the manufacturer states on the base. If in doubt, check all information against the photo of the base of the model.
