Steamin' Gleamin' Hot Wheels 1979 The Hot Ones 1:64 Loose

Steamin' Gleamin' is a fantasy truck in diecast model form, approximately 101 mm long, made from a combination of metal and plastic. The model stands out with its bright green cab and extensive, partially exposed engine section. Chrome engine components, the grille and twin vertically positioned exhausts are visible at the front and sides. The chrome chassis gives the silhouette a distinctive technical character and contrasts well with the green bodywork. The black wheels feature green accents, keeping them consistent with the colour scheme of the entire model. The fantasy design, sturdy proportions and exposed components reference the styling of late-1970s hot rod trucks. This example dates from 1979, was made in Malaysia and is offered as a loose model in a condition described as Loose.

Used, collectible diecast model; after restoration it is like new (without a box, unless a box is shown in the photos). We restore models with 3D-printed replacements for missing parts and special paints made for restoring model cars. If the model shows signs of use, it has been intentionally left partly unrestored to keep its individual vintage character. The photos show the actual condition of the model.

The date given in the title or description is not always the date the casting was made. It may refer to the design of the model, the first casting series or the production of the real car. We give the dates the manufacturer states on the base. If in doubt, check all information against the photo of the base of the model.
