SANDMÄNNCHEN Atlas Editions Atlas 2008 Brown 1:43

Collectible Sandmännchen figure made of resin, presented in the original Editions Atlas window box. The model depicts the Sandmännchen character holding a lantern, with a brown body and white and yellow details. Hand painting highlights the delicate sculpting, shading and fabric texture, while the lack of moving parts helps preserve the details. The catalogue number 7133110 and information about the licence and year of production, 2008, are shown on the bottom of the box. The box is factory-sealed in film; I would describe the collectible condition as very good, with minor signs of storage. The technology and material used, resin, provide stability and precision, while the colour scheme – brown with white and yellow details – emphasises the character's identity and the style of the diecast model. The whole piece fits the Atlas Editions style, making the model an attractive addition to boxed displays and a safe item to present in cabinets. Additional information includes the supplied packaging with a torch and bases, which contribute to a strong display effect in a collection.
