Porsche 959 Matchbox 1986 White 1:58

Matchbox diecast model in approximately 1:58 scale depicting the Porsche 959. The body is finished in white, contrasting with the brown-tinted windows and black details such as the headlight surrounds and side mouldings. The Porsche crest is visible on the bonnet, while the fixed rear spoiler emphasises the model's sporting character. The wheels feature characteristic Matchbox wheels, and the bumpers and air intakes are reproduced with the precision typical of the series. The base bears the markings PORSCHE 959 MATCHBOX INTL LTD MADE IN CHINA, and the number 58 and the year 1986 are visible underneath, confirming the manufacturer's original partnership with the company. The model has no opening parts; there are minor signs of use and paint chips, suggesting that the example was used for display or was a collector's item with limited use. Overall, it is a representative example of early Matchbox models from the 1980s, characterised by a solid casting and relatively precise paintwork, making it appealing to diecast model enthusiasts and Porsche fans. Additionally, the model features precise reproduction of body details such as the raised lines on the wings, the slight offset of the bonnet line and the characteristic cabin proportions, capturing the spirit of sports car designs from that decade. diecast model

Used, collectible diecast model; after restoration it is like new (without a box, unless a box is shown in the photos). We restore models with 3D-printed replacements for missing parts and special paints made for restoring model cars. If the model shows signs of use, it has been intentionally left partly unrestored to keep its individual vintage character. The photos show the actual condition of the model.

The date given in the title or description is not always the date the casting was made. It may refer to the design of the model, the first casting series or the production of the real car. We give the dates the manufacturer states on the base. If in doubt, check all information against the photo of the base of the model.
