Porsche 917 Growlers Corgi '80 Silver 1:64 Made in Gt

The Porsche 917 diecast model from Corgi Juniors is a detailed miniature from the Growlers series. Made from metal and plastic, it features silver paint with yellow windows, creating a contrasting, refined appearance. The model is approximately 70 mm long, corresponding to a scale of 1:64. The body reflects the low, aerodynamic lines and characteristic front with a wide grille; the details are carefully finished, including precise grooves and trim. The interior is simplified, but presents proportions typical of toy diecast models from the era. The model was made in Great Britain in the 1980s, as confirmed by its characteristic design and the materials used. The metal body is combined with plastic elements such as the scuttle and underbody parts, creating a durable, solid model. The Growlers series provides a distinctive collector's appearance, while the yellow windows add contrast to the silver paint. This diecast model is an example of classic Corgi production, combining toy-like solidity with an accurate representation of a racing car.

Used, collectible diecast model; after restoration it is like new (without a box, unless a box is shown in the photos). We restore models with 3D-printed replacements for missing parts and special paints made for restoring model cars. If the model shows signs of use, it has been intentionally left partly unrestored to keep its individual vintage character. The photos show the actual condition of the model.

The date given in the title or description is not always the date the casting was made. It may refer to the design of the model, the first casting series or the production of the real car. We give the dates the manufacturer states on the base. If in doubt, check all information against the photo of the base of the model.
