PIERCE DASH FIRE ENGINE, Matchbox 2008, Die cast, White, 1:64, diecast model

The Pierce Dash Fire Engine is a solid diecast model in approximately 1:64 scale, made of metal with plastic details and a plastic-and-metal chassis. The body is finished in white paint, complemented by red stripes, emergency service markings and the number 28 on the sides. A detailed pump panel is visible at the front, while the sides feature steps, compartments and firefighting equipment. The rear section is fitted with a textured, moulded deck, and the design also includes an integrated hose. Silver and chrome accents highlight the bumper, wheel rims and selected equipment details. All details are fixed and moulded into the casting, with no opening doors, compartments or other moving parts. This 2008 example has retained its complete shape, but has heavy rubbing and paint loss on the front bumper and edges, worn prints and worn wheel rims. Its collectible condition can be described as approximately 2/5.

Used, collectible diecast model; after restoration it is like new (without a box, unless a box is shown in the photos). We restore models with 3D-printed replacements for missing parts and special paints made for restoring model cars. If the model shows signs of use, it has been intentionally left partly unrestored to keep its individual vintage character. The photos show the actual condition of the model.

The date given in the title or description is not always the date the casting was made. It may refer to the design of the model, the first casting series or the production of the real car. We give the dates the manufacturer states on the base. If in doubt, check all information against the photo of the base of the model.
