Motorcity Securicar Carry Case Matchbox 1988 1:64 Armoured Car

The Matchbox Motorcity Securicar Carry Case diecast model is an unusual plastic model designed as a combination of an armoured car and a case for storing and carrying smaller models. The body is finished in a vivid yellow colour, which contrasts well with the black tyres and red-and-white decorative stickers. The word SECURICAR is clearly visible on the surface, emphasising the protective and transport-oriented nature of the design. The model resembles a heavy security vehicle, with a solid body, simplified bodywork details and a practical handle positioned on the upper section. The case element makes it recognisable not only as a diecast model, but also as an accessory for storing a collection. The approximately 1:64 scale and late-1980s styling give it the distinctive, functional appearance of children’s sets from that period. This is a model with a more functional than realistic character, made interesting by its unusual construction and combination of vehicle and transport case.
