MORGAN PLUS 8 Playart '70 Light Blue 1:53

The metal diecast model, styled as a classic roadster, features a muted light blue paint finish that contrasts with the yellow plastic interior and blue transparent windscreen. Chrome details decorate the radiator grille, grille surrounds and air intakes, while the spiral wheels give the vehicle a distinctive accent. The underside is stamped with the inscriptions playart and MADE IN HONG KONG. The model has no moving parts; paint scuffs and minor dirt are visible along the edges of the bodywork. Its length of 79 mm suggests a scale close to 1:53. The whole model reflects the styling of the 1960s–70s, making it a typical example of a period diecast model and Playart edition.

Used, collectible diecast model; after restoration it is like new (without a box, unless a box is shown in the photos). We restore models with 3D-printed replacements for missing parts and special paints made for restoring model cars. If the model shows signs of use, it has been intentionally left partly unrestored to keep its individual vintage character. The photos show the actual condition of the model.

The date given in the title or description is not always the date the casting was made. It may refer to the design of the model, the first casting series or the production of the real car. We give the dates the manufacturer states on the base. If in doubt, check all information against the photo of the base of the model.
