MOBILE CRANE Matchbox 1997 Red 1:87

This diecast model is a mobile crane from the Matchbox range, with a distinct red body, black chassis and silver wheels. It is made from metal and plastic components, combining durability with precision casting. Its main features include a movable boom with a hook, allowing it to be positioned realistically, and a rotating crane platform for manoeuvring. The model dates from 1997, was made in China and bears catalogue number 33439-1510. The set was sold in an original Matchbox window box with Mattel Wheels graphics and markings; the box shows slight wear, but the model remains complete. The wheels are silver, while the boom and segment connection details reflect the equipment's structural character. The colour scheme – red body, black chassis and contrasting silver wheels – emphasises the technical character of the diecast model. Overall, this is a solid example for a collector interested in construction vehicles from the 1990s.
