Mini Cooper Welly Red 1:48

The Mini Cooper diecast model by Welly is a 1:48 scale model, made with a metal body and plastic chassis. The model is completed by a painted white roof contrasting with the red body, black details, silver wheels and precise trim. The underside bears the inscription WELLY NO.2069 MADE IN CHINA; the chassis reproduces mechanical components in the form of recessed details and a hand-cast frame. The corners and mirrors are made of plastic, while the moving wheels allow the model to be displayed in a dynamic position. The model has a scratched windscreen and small paint chips, indicating moderate use; however, it retains sharp contours and clear styling throughout. The model measures approximately 79 mm in length, which gives it the faithful proportions of a classic hatchback in 1:48 scale. The chassis reproduces the characteristic elements of the Mini Cooper, with a clear inscription and detailed features, while the metal body combines durability with precise engraved detailing, making it an appealing item for collectors looking for cars from the basic range.

Used, collectible diecast model; after restoration it is like new (without a box, unless a box is shown in the photos). We restore models with 3D-printed replacements for missing parts and special paints made for restoring model cars. If the model shows signs of use, it has been intentionally left partly unrestored to keep its individual vintage character. The photos show the actual condition of the model.

The date given in the title or description is not always the date the casting was made. It may refer to the design of the model, the first casting series or the production of the real car. We give the dates the manufacturer states on the base. If in doubt, check all information against the photo of the base of the model.
