Mercury Matchbox Regular Wheels 1:57 Made in England Loose Red

The Mercury model in approximately 1:57 scale is a classic Matchbox diecast model with a metal body and plastic components. The car has an intense red paint finish, contrasted by a black skull graphic on the bonnet. This decoration is the most recognisable detail of the model and gives it a slightly rebellious, individual character. The black wheels have silver hubs, allowing the model to retain a simple but distinctive style. The metal base adds to its solidity, while its approximately 8 cm length corresponds well to the popular format of small collectible models. The model comes from English production and bears catalogue number 59 in the Regular Wheels series. The condition described as loose indicates a model stored outside its packaging, with possible signs of use and age. The visible graphics and combination of red and black make this an interesting diecast model for a collection of models with an unconventional appearance.

Used, collectible diecast model; after restoration it is like new (without a box, unless a box is shown in the photos). We restore models with 3D-printed replacements for missing parts and special paints made for restoring model cars. If the model shows signs of use, it has been intentionally left partly unrestored to keep its individual vintage character. The photos show the actual condition of the model.

The date given in the title or description is not always the date the casting was made. It may refer to the design of the model, the first casting series or the production of the real car. We give the dates the manufacturer states on the base. If in doubt, check all information against the photo of the base of the model.
