MERCEDES MILITARY POLICE Playart '70 Olive Military 1:60 2xMetal

The 78 mm diecast model has a body cast from zamak and plastic elements, highlighting its distinctive contrast of materials. The sides feature white Mercedes Military Police lettering, while the blue transparent windows and non-opening doors create a static appearance. There is a small blue light on the roof. The chassis is marked Playart and MADE IN HONG KONG, confirming the model's origin. The wheel rims are silver and the tyres black; the colour scheme is an olive shade with light blue accents, suggesting military use. Small paint losses and signs of use are visible, adding character to this collector's model. The model presents a classic body line, a straightforward roofline and even embossed lines, reflecting the designer's technical precision. This diecast model combines elements of road-policy iconography with the realistic appearance of a military vehicle, which may appeal to collectors seeking period authenticity. Overall, it offers a balanced view of an olive-and-blue model, with clear lettering and contrasting details, making it an interesting object to examine and assess.

Used, collectible diecast model; after restoration it is like new (without a box, unless a box is shown in the photos). We restore models with 3D-printed replacements for missing parts and special paints made for restoring model cars. If the model shows signs of use, it has been intentionally left partly unrestored to keep its individual vintage character. The photos show the actual condition of the model.

The date given in the title or description is not always the date the casting was made. It may refer to the design of the model, the first casting series or the production of the real car. We give the dates the manufacturer states on the base. If in doubt, check all information against the photo of the base of the model.
