MB17 "LONDON BUS", Matchbox 1981, 1:76

The diecast model MB17 depicts a classic London double-decker bus, made of die-cast with plastic elements. The body is painted bright red, with a clearly visible white advertising stripe and lettering in a dark shade, emphasising the lines of the double-decker body and the sharp edges of the windows. Details include black wheels with visible tyres, chrome hubs, and sculpted doors and windows made of transparent plastic. The diecast model is a classic example of a display model, with the interior visible through the windows suggesting the arrangement of passenger seats, while the Around London Tour-Bus livery on the side reinforces the context. The model was made from die-cast with plastic elements in the passenger areas and windows. The set includes the original window box, which shows signs of use. There are no opening features, making this a static display model. The catalogue number MB17 is visible on the packaging.
