MAN Grell 1:64 König Pilsener Red Loose Tractor Unit

This 1:64 scale model depicts a red MAN tractor unit coupled to a three-axle box-body trailer. The tractor unit has a compact, utilitarian form typical of transport lorries, while the black chassis and dark structural elements create a clear contrast with the red paintwork. The trailer features König Pilsener advertising livery, with a visible beer bottle motif and printed graphics on the sides of the body. The body is of an open or box-body type, with defined sideboards and a simple supporting structure. The diecast model is made of plastic, and its greatest strength is the coherent combination of the tractor unit and trailer, together with its distinctive advertising theme. Offered loose, without packaging, this example presents well as a small transport model and as an example of a utilitarian vehicle in a decorative version.

Used, collectible diecast model; after restoration it is like new (without a box, unless a box is shown in the photos). We restore models with 3D-printed replacements for missing parts and special paints made for restoring model cars. If the model shows signs of use, it has been intentionally left partly unrestored to keep its individual vintage character. The photos show the actual condition of the model.

The date given in the title or description is not always the date the casting was made. It may refer to the design of the model, the first casting series or the production of the real car. We give the dates the manufacturer states on the base. If in doubt, check all information against the photo of the base of the model.
