Lotus Super Seven Matchbox 1971 Superfast 1:64 Made in England Loose

The Lotus Super Seven is a small diecast model measuring approximately 72 mm in length, made in 1:64 scale. The metal body is finished in a vivid orange colour and has the open, distinctive shape of a lightweight roadster. The low body proportions, short front end, rounded wings and compact cabin with a black interior are clearly visible. The black wheels retain the simple, practical styling characteristic of models from the early 1970s. The construction combines a metal body with plastic components, while the working suspension is an additional feature that makes the model more appealing to look at and play with. This example was produced in England in 1971, carries catalogue number 60 and represents a sports roadster with a minimalist, racing-inspired appearance.

Used, collectible diecast model; after restoration it is like new (without a box, unless a box is shown in the photos). We restore models with 3D-printed replacements for missing parts and special paints made for restoring model cars. If the model shows signs of use, it has been intentionally left partly unrestored to keep its individual vintage character. The photos show the actual condition of the model.

The date given in the title or description is not always the date the casting was made. It may refer to the design of the model, the first casting series or the production of the real car. We give the dates the manufacturer states on the base. If in doubt, check all information against the photo of the base of the model.
