Leyland Ergomatic Cab Matchbox Series 1:87 Made in England Loose

This diecast model depicts a Leyland Ergomatic Cab tanker in 1:87 scale, made from a combination of metal and plastic. The green driver's cab and chassis create a coherent, utilitarian silhouette typical of a classic transport vehicle. Behind the cab is a yellow metal fuel tank decorated with a wide black stripe, which stands out strongly against the other elements. Three filler caps are visible on the upper part of the tanker, forming a characteristic structural detail. The model has a three-axle chassis and is approximately 86 mm long. The example is preserved as a loose model and shows clear signs of use: there are numerous chips to the green and yellow paint, scuffs and minor signs of surface wear. Despite this, it has retained its recognisable tanker shape and the interesting proportions typical of transport lorries.

Used, collectible diecast model; after restoration it is like new (without a box, unless a box is shown in the photos). We restore models with 3D-printed replacements for missing parts and special paints made for restoring model cars. If the model shows signs of use, it has been intentionally left partly unrestored to keep its individual vintage character. The photos show the actual condition of the model.

The date given in the title or description is not always the date the casting was made. It may refer to the design of the model, the first casting series or the production of the real car. We give the dates the manufacturer states on the base. If in doubt, check all information against the photo of the base of the model.
