Jeep Hurricane Matchbox 2004 Black 1:58

This diecast model is a Jeep Hurricane off-road model in 1:58 scale, made with a metal chassis and plastic components. The main colour is black, with details in silver and red; the paintwork shows light signs of use and paint scuffs, which add character. The bodywork is open, with visible red seats inside, while the large treaded tyres emphasise the vehicle's off-road character. The engine and bumpers are clearly highlighted with silver details, while the underside features a metal chassis with Matchbox and Mattel markings from 2004 and the inscription CHINA. The model is approximately 72 mm long, which corresponds to 1:58 scale in practice. It was produced in China in 2004. The bodywork details convey the solid, functional character of the off-roader, while the open bodywork displays the interior with two red seats and contrasting accents inside. Overall, it presents a cohesive, rugged style characteristic of the approach to reproducing mechanics and details used in early Matchbox Mainline editions, making it an interesting addition to a collection, especially for enthusiasts of classic Mainline sets.

Used, collectible diecast model; after restoration it is like new (without a box, unless a box is shown in the photos). We restore models with 3D-printed replacements for missing parts and special paints made for restoring model cars. If the model shows signs of use, it has been intentionally left partly unrestored to keep its individual vintage character. The photos show the actual condition of the model.

The date given in the title or description is not always the date the casting was made. It may refer to the design of the model, the first casting series or the production of the real car. We give the dates the manufacturer states on the base. If in doubt, check all information against the photo of the base of the model.
