Jaguar E-Type Coupe Mini Jet Wiking '80 Red 1:87 Made in Germany

The diecast model depicts a Jaguar E-Type Coupe from the Mini Jet series produced by Wiking. The model has a red body, silver bumpers and wheels, black tyres, and no printed graphics on the bodywork. The transparent windows reveal the interior structure, while the painted headlights add realism despite the simple detailing. The bumpers have been reproduced as chassis components, and the wheels imitate spokes, which is characteristic of small-scale sets from the 1960s and 1970s. The scale is approximately 1:87, reflecting the real car's length of around 4450 mm and a model length of 49 mm. The overall condition indicates moderate signs of play: light rubbing on the nose and bumpers, subdued paintwork, no printed graphics, and simple, matt wheels. The model is made of metal and plastic, with finishes suggesting the raw yet authentic lines of the E-Type, while the transparent windows highlight the interior without detailed interior fittings. This diecast model captures the spirit of the era, and the 1:87 Jaguar E-Type Coupe version retains the elegance of the long bonnet and characteristic vents.

Used, collectible diecast model; after restoration it is like new (without a box, unless a box is shown in the photos). We restore models with 3D-printed replacements for missing parts and special paints made for restoring model cars. If the model shows signs of use, it has been intentionally left partly unrestored to keep its individual vintage character. The photos show the actual condition of the model.

The date given in the title or description is not always the date the casting was made. It may refer to the design of the model, the first casting series or the production of the real car. We give the dates the manufacturer states on the base. If in doubt, check all information against the photo of the base of the model.
