Jaguar E 4.2 Yatming '70 Blue 1:64

diecast model Jaguar E 4.2 in racing livery with number 10 has a metal body and zinc die-cast chassis, along with plastic wheels. The body is finished in blue with white stripes and red accents, highlighting the club racing character of the era. Greenish plastic forms the window and gives the model a distinctive translucency, slightly dulled by light. The number 10 appears in white lettering on the side panels, while the stripe decorations are clearly applied, although slight signs of use are visible. The lack of opening parts confirms the simple construction, while paint wear and minor losses are natural features of this collectible example. The model comes from Hong Kong and belongs to the mainline range, making it accessible to beginner collectors. Overall, it combines a solid metal body with lightweight plastic components, providing stability on the shelf and an authentic racing feel from the era.

Used, collectible diecast model; after restoration it is like new (without a box, unless a box is shown in the photos). We restore models with 3D-printed replacements for missing parts and special paints made for restoring model cars. If the model shows signs of use, it has been intentionally left partly unrestored to keep its individual vintage character. The photos show the actual condition of the model.

The date given in the title or description is not always the date the casting was made. It may refer to the design of the model, the first casting series or the production of the real car. We give the dates the manufacturer states on the base. If in doubt, check all information against the photo of the base of the model.
