Hummer Matchbox 2004 1:64 Black Off-Road

The key feature of this diecast model is its metal body in a matt black shade, combined with a plastic base. The body features details characteristic of off-road vehicles: moulded contours, clearly defined doors and an integrated spare wheel on the rear hatch. The plastic wheels resemble silver metal rims, contrasting with the matt black paintwork. The model carries the manufacturer's markings as raised lettering on the underside, showing the Matchbox logo and the number MB 866; the scale is also stated on the underside, while the inscription made in thailand confirms the country of production. As a 1:64 scale collectable, the model shows some signs of use, which add a sense of utility and authenticity. The body edges and trim are clearly defined, while the shape of the bonnet and grille has been reproduced with emphasis on a functional off-road appearance. The combination of black with metallic elements and dark windows creates a solid, understated visual effect that fits well with the Matchbox Off-Road series from the early 21st century. Overall, it gives the impression of a solid, compact diecast model that could serve as a replica of an off-road vehicle from the 2000s, while remaining faithful to the scale and materials used in the model.

Used, collectible diecast model; after restoration it is like new (without a box, unless a box is shown in the photos). We restore models with 3D-printed replacements for missing parts and special paints made for restoring model cars. If the model shows signs of use, it has been intentionally left partly unrestored to keep its individual vintage character. The photos show the actual condition of the model.

The date given in the title or description is not always the date the casting was made. It may refer to the design of the model, the first casting series or the production of the real car. We give the dates the manufacturer states on the base. If in doubt, check all information against the photo of the base of the model.
