GRIT SPREADER Matchbox '70 Red 1:64 Made in England

This Grit Spreader diecast model by Lesney, part of the Matchbox line, features a classic metal body and a straightforward, rugged form characteristic of collectible models from the 1970s. The paintwork is a two-colour scheme: the red body and yellow aggregate hopper create a distinct contrast, while numerous raised details and panel lines add realism. The model is approximately 76 mm long and has a scale of 1:64; it was produced in England, and the year is 1970. Catalogue number 70 confirms its place in the Matchbox series.

Used, collectible diecast model; after restoration it is like new (without a box, unless a box is shown in the photos). We restore models with 3D-printed replacements for missing parts and special paints made for restoring model cars. If the model shows signs of use, it has been intentionally left partly unrestored to keep its individual vintage character. The photos show the actual condition of the model.

The date given in the title or description is not always the date the casting was made. It may refer to the design of the model, the first casting series or the production of the real car. We give the dates the manufacturer states on the base. If in doubt, check all information against the photo of the base of the model.
