Formula 1 Magneto '70 Blue 1:64 Made in West Germany

This diecast model has a metal body in an intense blue colour, together with a contrasting white roundel bearing the number 3 and a bright orange helmet on the driver figure. The base is embossed and bears the inscription MAGNETO W. GERMANY, indicating the product's origin. The plastic wheels have visible tread; the axles appear to use a classic drive mechanism, without modern features. The model is approximately 66 mm long; the paint has minor losses and signs of use, confirming its display-oriented collector's character while also suggesting that it has had a life among collectors. The whole is completed by assembly details and embossed lines that reproduce the proportions of a racing car from the period; the construction points to the 1960s and 1970s, and the diecast model was part of a larger series.

Used, collectible diecast model; after restoration it is like new (without a box, unless a box is shown in the photos). We restore models with 3D-printed replacements for missing parts and special paints made for restoring model cars. If the model shows signs of use, it has been intentionally left partly unrestored to keep its individual vintage character. The photos show the actual condition of the model.

The date given in the title or description is not always the date the casting was made. It may refer to the design of the model, the first casting series or the production of the real car. We give the dates the manufacturer states on the base. If in doubt, check all information against the photo of the base of the model.
