Formula 1 Hot Wheels x McDonald's 2000 GL 23 Yellow 1:55 diecast model

This diecast model is a yellow Formula 1 racing car with a black floor and suspension, as well as white turbofan wheels. The model features a metal body (die-cast), while the chassis and details are made of plastic; the open cockpit contains a visible blue driver's head. The front wing is made of two parts and cast together with the bodywork, while the rear wing is an integral casting of the body. The turbofan wheels complete the characteristic look of the period; the proportions are close to those of a real ground-effect racing car from around 1982–1986. The length of 84 mm suggests a scale of approximately 1:55. The colour scheme consists of a yellow body, black floor and suspension, white wheels and a blue driver's helmet, creating a contrasting yet harmonious palette. The metal body is combined with plastic details, while the distinctive features emphasise the bodywork's lines. This diecast model, resulting from a collaboration between Hot Wheels and McDonald's, fits into a loose mainline edition and is an appealing collectible for enthusiasts of cars from the 1980s.

Used, collectible diecast model; after restoration it is like new (without a box, unless a box is shown in the photos). We restore models with 3D-printed replacements for missing parts and special paints made for restoring model cars. If the model shows signs of use, it has been intentionally left partly unrestored to keep its individual vintage character. The photos show the actual condition of the model.

The date given in the title or description is not always the date the casting was made. It may refer to the design of the model, the first casting series or the production of the real car. We give the dates the manufacturer states on the base. If in doubt, check all information against the photo of the base of the model.
