FORD TRANSIT Herpa '75 White 1:87 Made in West Germany

The appearance of this diecast model reflects a typical 1970s Ford Transit van, finished in white with black details. The plastic model in 1:87 scale is 55 mm long, resulting in a subtle yet clearly recognisable silhouette. Moulded transparent windows give the vehicle a light, realistic character, while the imitation spare wheel visible on the underside emphasises the vehicle's practical roots. The black grille and underbody components contrast with the white colour, while the simple wheels highlight the minimalist design of the era. The underside bears Ford Transit and Herpa markings, as well as the inscription Made in West Germany, confirming its earlier production. The model has no opening elements, which does not limit the presentation of details such as sharp edges, precise moulded lines and realistic representations of the glazing, doors and windows. Altogether, it presents a coherent diecast model fitting the collector theme of period commercial vehicle miniatures and makes a valuable addition to any display.

Used, collectible diecast model; after restoration it is like new (without a box, unless a box is shown in the photos). We restore models with 3D-printed replacements for missing parts and special paints made for restoring model cars. If the model shows signs of use, it has been intentionally left partly unrestored to keep its individual vintage character. The photos show the actual condition of the model.

The date given in the title or description is not always the date the casting was made. It may refer to the design of the model, the first casting series or the production of the real car. We give the dates the manufacturer states on the base. If in doubt, check all information against the photo of the base of the model.
