Ford RS 200 Matchbox 1986 Superfast 1:56 Esso Loose Red Custom ART

The model depicts the Ford RS 200, a compact coupé with a distinctly rally-inspired character. The body is finished in an intense red, complemented by white and blue stripes and contrasting Esso decals. The characteristic proportions of a rally car are clearly visible: a short silhouette, wide wings, a low roofline and a compact body designed for fast driving on special stages. The front has been emphasised with a sporty appearance, while the side surfaces feature decorations inspired by cars competing in rallies. The metal body is combined with plastic components, giving the model the typical solidity of a small diecast model. The diecast model is approximately 1:56 scale, 72 mm long and dates from 1986. The item is offered loose, meaning without its original packaging, with possible signs of previous use.

Used, collectible diecast model; after restoration it is like new (without a box, unless a box is shown in the photos). We restore models with 3D-printed replacements for missing parts and special paints made for restoring model cars. If the model shows signs of use, it has been intentionally left partly unrestored to keep its individual vintage character. The photos show the actual condition of the model.

The date given in the title or description is not always the date the casting was made. It may refer to the design of the model, the first casting series or the production of the real car. We give the dates the manufacturer states on the base. If in doubt, check all information against the photo of the base of the model.
