Ford Dyson Low-Loader Super Kings Matchbox 1971 1:43 Made in England

Visual and technical description. Ford Dyson Low-Loader is a diecast model made of metal (Zamak casting) and plastic. The long green low-loader platform has a tilting ramp and a winch mounted above the red tractor unit. The tractor unit has green transparent windows and chrome details on the bumpers and bodywork accents. The colour scheme combines a green platform with red bodywork; the chrome details emphasise its retro character. The wheels are made of plastic and fitted to metal rims; the whole model has a solid, substantial appearance. Paint loss and signs of use are visible on the surface, adding authenticity. The model dates from 1971, was made in England and has catalogue number K-17 in the Super Kings series. The whole piece presents the typical style of the 1970s, when the functionality of the ramp and winch was part of the character of this range.

Used, collectible diecast model; after restoration it is like new (without a box, unless a box is shown in the photos). We restore models with 3D-printed replacements for missing parts and special paints made for restoring model cars. If the model shows signs of use, it has been intentionally left partly unrestored to keep its individual vintage character. The photos show the actual condition of the model.

The date given in the title or description is not always the date the casting was made. It may refer to the design of the model, the first casting series or the production of the real car. We give the dates the manufacturer states on the base. If in doubt, check all information against the photo of the base of the model.
