Ford Anglia Matchbox '50 Light Blue 1:55 Made in England

Visual and technical description: diecast model made from a zamak casting, painted in a light blue shade with subtle silver details. The green transparent windows contrast with the matt paintwork; the underside is decorated with the embossing FORD ANGLIA MADE IN ENGLAND BY LESNEY and catalogue number 17. Riveted construction with fixed metal axles and no opening or movable parts. Signs of wear are visible on the finish: worn paint edges, localised corrosion on the axles and minor paint cracks. Length approximately 66 mm, approximate scale 1:55. The model reflects the early stage of Matchbox production and, for a collector, is an authentic example of 1950s style.

Used, collectible diecast model; after restoration it is like new (without a box, unless a box is shown in the photos). We restore models with 3D-printed replacements for missing parts and special paints made for restoring model cars. If the model shows signs of use, it has been intentionally left partly unrestored to keep its individual vintage character. The photos show the actual condition of the model.
