FERRARI 330 P4 (PROTOTYPE), Ferrero (Kinder) c. 1979–83, Red, 1:85

The Ferrari 330 P4 diecast model in 1:85 scale features a die-cast metal body with a plastic chassis and windows. The bodywork in bright red paint, with black headlamp inserts and white wheels on black tyres, creates a contrast typical of the 1960s. Tinted glazing conceals the interior, while the glazed window above the engine compartment suggests a reconstruction in toy form, with no visible interior. The riveted axle and wheels with white disc-style rims are characteristic features of Ferrero models from the turn of the 1970s and 1980s. Identification of the vehicle is based on the body line: a low nose, two small triangular headlamp recesses in the corners, a huge domed windscreen, narrow side windows and substantial rear wheel arches with air intakes leading to the engine. The rectangular window in the engine cover and the streamlined, smooth shape are typical simplifications of the model in toy form. The 1:85 scale results from comparing the length of the real car (approximately 4400–4450 mm) with the length of the toy (52 mm). This diecast model also carries memories of the period style and production techniques of the 1960s.

Used, collectible diecast model; after restoration it is like new (without a box, unless a box is shown in the photos). We restore models with 3D-printed replacements for missing parts and special paints made for restoring model cars. If the model shows signs of use, it has been intentionally left partly unrestored to keep its individual vintage character. The photos show the actual condition of the model.
