Fandango Matchbox 1975 Rolamatics 1:64 Made in England Loose White

Matchbox Fandango diecast model, catalogued as number 35, comes from the Rolamatics series and was manufactured in England in 1975. The model is approximately 72 mm long, corresponding to a 1:64 scale. Its shape is reminiscent of a futuristic fantasy car with a rounded cabin, low body and distinctive proportions typical of automotive designs from the mid-1970s. The white body contrasts with the red chassis and red windows, giving the model a striking and stylistically cohesive appearance. The construction is made of metal and plastic. The most important technical feature is the Rolamatics mechanism with a moving rear section that operates as the model rolls, giving it an interactive character. The item is offered as a loose model without packaging, so its visual condition should be assessed with typical signs of storage and use in mind.

Used, collectible diecast model; after restoration it is like new (without a box, unless a box is shown in the photos). We restore models with 3D-printed replacements for missing parts and special paints made for restoring model cars. If the model shows signs of use, it has been intentionally left partly unrestored to keep its individual vintage character. The photos show the actual condition of the model.

The date given in the title or description is not always the date the casting was made. It may refer to the design of the model, the first casting series or the production of the real car. We give the dates the manufacturer states on the base. If in doubt, check all information against the photo of the base of the model.
