Electric Van Matchbox 2017 White 1:64

Visual and technical description. The diecast model has a white body with a large MATCHBOX logo on the side, while orange and yellow stripes and black details create a distinctive contrast. The construction combines die-cast metal and plastic: a metal body, plastic windows and a plastic base, with an embossed MATCHBOX logo and Made in Thailand marking, as well as the year 2017. The rear doors are represented by an embossed roller shutter, the wheels are movable and there are no opening parts. The colour application consists of a sticker on the plastic windows and a lacquer coating: minor scuffs and paint loss are visible on the edges, adding character to this collectible example. The model follows the Mainline aesthetic: a simple, clear design, refined colour contrasts and a durable combination of materials that makes it easy to display with other Matchbox diecast models. Details such as the embossed door details, sharp edges and carefully made logos make this model an interesting addition to any collection.

Used, collectible diecast model; after restoration it is like new (without a box, unless a box is shown in the photos). We restore models with 3D-printed replacements for missing parts and special paints made for restoring model cars. If the model shows signs of use, it has been intentionally left partly unrestored to keep its individual vintage character. The photos show the actual condition of the model.

The date given in the title or description is not always the date the casting was made. It may refer to the design of the model, the first casting series or the production of the real car. We give the dates the manufacturer states on the base. If in doubt, check all information against the photo of the base of the model.
