Desert Thunder V16 Matchbox 2003 Superfast 1:64 Pickup WAR WAGON Loose

Matchbox Desert Thunder V16 is an eye-catching diecast model in 1:64 scale, designed as an off-road pickup intended for driving across desert terrain. The body has an intense red finish, contrasting with the black roof and dark trim elements. The sides feature a silver and white graphic with a dynamic winged motif, complemented by the wording "WAR WAGON". The model is distinguished by large off-road wheels with a clear rugged character, emphasising its raised and combat-style profile. The metal body is combined with plastic parts, retaining the compact shape and toy-like functionality typical of the Superfast series. At approximately 88 mm long, the diecast model displays well both on its own and alongside other models inspired by deserts, rallying and utility vehicles. This example is offered as a loose model in a condition described as "Luzak", so it may show signs of previous use.

Used, collectible diecast model; after restoration it is like new (without a box, unless a box is shown in the photos). We restore models with 3D-printed replacements for missing parts and special paints made for restoring model cars. If the model shows signs of use, it has been intentionally left partly unrestored to keep its individual vintage character. The photos show the actual condition of the model.

The date given in the title or description is not always the date the casting was made. It may refer to the design of the model, the first casting series or the production of the real car. We give the dates the manufacturer states on the base. If in doubt, check all information against the photo of the base of the model.
