Corvette Matchbox 2008 Yellow 1:64

A prototype sports model in yellow paint with a black roof, transparent windows and silver multi-spoke wheels. The diecast model is made of die-cast metal with a plastic chassis; raised details on the underside reproduce the exhaust system and suspension. Signs of use and paint wear are visible, adding character to this 2008 example. The MATCHBOX logo, MB749 number and Made in Thailand information appear on the underside. The model has no opening or moving parts and represents the classic prototype sports style characteristic of this series. Everything is presented in a version that will appeal to collectors looking for cars with chassis details and a solid metal body.

Used, collectible diecast model; after restoration it is like new (without a box, unless a box is shown in the photos). We restore models with 3D-printed replacements for missing parts and special paints made for restoring model cars. If the model shows signs of use, it has been intentionally left partly unrestored to keep its individual vintage character. The photos show the actual condition of the model.

The date given in the title or description is not always the date the casting was made. It may refer to the design of the model, the first casting series or the production of the real car. We give the dates the manufacturer states on the base. If in doubt, check all information against the photo of the base of the model.
