Cab-Over Fire Engine Tractor Unit Red 1:87 Fire Engine

Visual and technical description: the diecast model features a red casting with white EMERGENCY and No.3 lettering on the sides, contrasting with the metal cab-over cabin. The platform and chassis are made of plastic, with a chequer plate texture; there is no glazing on the outside, suggesting a simple, budget construction. The bumper is silver, as is the platform, while the gold-coloured wheels give the model a somewhat timeless character. The body is set on a low profile, without a trailer; the fire service markings emphasise the vehicle's emergency role. Overall, it has a raw, mass-produced character typical of market-sold items; the paint details are limited to two colours, highlighting the economical nature of the casting. The cab-over cabin has a visible fifth-wheel coupling and a pronounced roof profile, contributing to its compact appearance. The model reflects the basic form of a tractor unit without a trailer, with a short rear section and a simple side line. The diecast model theoretically combines function with simplicity, representing a group of budget models in the fire service casting section.

Used, collectible diecast model; after restoration it is like new (without a box, unless a box is shown in the photos). We restore models with 3D-printed replacements for missing parts and special paints made for restoring model cars. If the model shows signs of use, it has been intentionally left partly unrestored to keep its individual vintage character. The photos show the actual condition of the model.

The date given in the title or description is not always the date the casting was made. It may refer to the design of the model, the first casting series or the production of the real car. We give the dates the manufacturer states on the base. If in doubt, check all information against the photo of the base of the model.
