Antique Cast Iron Horse-Drawn Wagon 1930 1:16 Made in United States

This diecast model depicts a large cast-iron two-horse agricultural wagon with widely spread sides of the body, featuring a characteristic barrel suspended on the sides. The colour scheme consists of a blue body, yellow spoked wheels, a red pole and suspension, and white horses, creating a contrasting effect. The spoked wheels are sharply defined, while the cast-iron construction gives it a solid appearance. The swivelling front axle allows for classic gentle movement. The wagon is approximately 263 mm long, corresponding to a scale of around 1:16 in relation to a real farm wagon from the historical period. This model refers to Arcade wagons from the 1920s/30s, and its casting reproduces their characteristic features: a side-mounted barrel, high body sides, and solid, substantial wheels. The whole model retains the style and proportions of earlier technology, while the cast-iron material and precise details indicate a high level of care in its manufacture as a loose collector's model. diecast model.

If the model shows signs of use, it has been intentionally left partly unrestored to keep its individual vintage character. The photos show the actual condition of the model.
