'57 Chevy Superfast Matchbox 1979 Pink 1:64 Made in England

Matchbox diecast model from the Superfast series depicting a '57 Chevy in pink paint with metallic details. Metal base with raised details and series logo, made in England, 1979. The opening bonnet reveals the visible engine, alongside side exhaust pipes and prominent rear fins, highlighting the character of this line. The paintwork is metallic, with contrasting silver details and black tyres; in places, the paint is heavily worn, exposing the underlying metal layer. Chrome details, plastic windows and wheels with printed rims create an overall vintage effect. The model combines a solid metal base with plastic elements, retaining the classic appearance of diecast models from the late 1970s. The condition indicates heavy use, which is typical of examples from this series, but the details and construction still capture the spirit of the Superfast line.

Used, collectible diecast model; after restoration it is like new (without a box, unless a box is shown in the photos). We restore models with 3D-printed replacements for missing parts and special paints made for restoring model cars. If the model shows signs of use, it has been intentionally left partly unrestored to keep its individual vintage character. The photos show the actual condition of the model.

The date given in the title or description is not always the date the casting was made. It may refer to the design of the model, the first casting series or the production of the real car. We give the dates the manufacturer states on the base. If in doubt, check all information against the photo of the base of the model.
