'40 Ford Hot Wheels '90 Blue 1:64

This 1:64 diecast model features a die-cast body with plastic elements. The convertible has a blue base colour with vivid flames in shades of orange and black, giving the model a dynamic character. The interior is painted black, while the interior details are made of plastic; the windscreen is made of clear plastic, and the shiny silver details include the door handles and trim. The underside of the body has moulded details and the marking A47 MALAYSIA, indicating serial production origin. The wheels have five-spoke rims, characteristic of the hot rod style of the 1940s, while the painted elements show visible rubbing and minor paint chips. The model has no moving parts; the paintwork and finishing details reflect the character of a relaxed, collector-style interpretation of a classic. The die-cast metal construction combined with plastic provides weight and stability, while the use of a plastic windscreen emphasises the vehicle's retro aesthetic. Overall, it retains a carefully made character, making it a valuable standalone display piece in a diecast model collection and an interesting addition to a Hot Wheels set.

Used, collectible diecast model; after restoration it is like new (without a box, unless a box is shown in the photos). We restore models with 3D-printed replacements for missing parts and special paints made for restoring model cars. If the model shows signs of use, it has been intentionally left partly unrestored to keep its individual vintage character. The photos show the actual condition of the model.

The date given in the title or description is not always the date the casting was made. It may refer to the design of the model, the first casting series or the production of the real car. We give the dates the manufacturer states on the base. If in doubt, check all information against the photo of the base of the model.
